Jesse Delgado

We are incredibly excited to welcome two-time NCAA Champion Jesse Delgado to our summer camp staff. With a competitive resume that ranks among the very best and an active role coaching at the Division I level, Jesse offers our campers a rare blend of elite mat experience and high-level instructional knowledge.

Back-to-Back National Champion 

During his historic career at the University of Illinois, Jesse established himself as one of the most dominant and exciting lightweight wrestlers of his era. He is a 2x NCAA National Champion, proving his ability to win on the sport's biggest stage under immense pressure. A model of consistency and technical excellence, Jesse was also a 3x NCAA All-American, a 4x NCAA Qualifier, and a 2x Big Ten Champion in arguably the toughest wrestling conference in the country.

California Roots 

Before dominating the NCAA, Jesse was a standout prep wrestler on the West Coast. He captured a highly coveted California State Championship, a notoriously difficult feat in one of the nation's deepest and most competitive wrestling states, which set the foundation for his legendary collegiate career.

Division I Coaching Expertise

Jesse’s impact on the sport didn't end when he hung up his collegiate singlet. He is currently an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Brown University, where he helps develop the next generation of collegiate athletes. This means he isn't just a phenomenal wrestler. He is a proven, active coach who knows exactly how to communicate complex techniques and translate them to athletes of all ages and skill levels.

What Campers Will Learn

Campers working with Jesse will get firsthand instruction from a coach who has reached the absolute peak of American folkstyle wrestling. Known for his lightning-fast scrambles, elite neutral offense, and incredible mat awareness, Jesse will teach campers how to dictate the pace of a match and score from any position. Because of his current collegiate coaching role, he breaks down high-level, winning techniques into actionable, easy-to-understand steps, giving campers the mental and physical tools they need to succeed at the next level.
