DARRIUS LITTLE

Darrius Little is the former Head Assistant Coach of Brown University’s Division I Wrestling Program, where he served from 2018 to 2022. During his tenure, he played a key role in athlete development and program growth before stepping away to pursue his MBA. Despite this transition, Darrius has remained deeply committed to mentoring young athletes and is excited to lead the Show-Me Academy Wrestling Program.

Prior to his time at Brown, Darrius held assistant coaching positions at Lehigh University (2015–2018) and Gardner-Webb University (2014–2015), gaining extensive experience at the Division I level and building a reputation for developing high-performing wrestlers.

In addition to his coaching accomplishments, Darrius is a highly decorated athlete. He is a two-time World Team Trials Qualifier and a two-time Top-8 finisher at the U.S. Open (2015, 2018). As a collegiate wrestler at North Carolina State University, he earned All-American honors in 2012, qualified for the NCAA Championships three times, and was a three-time All-ACC selection (2008, 2011, 2012). He ranks Top 10 in wins at NC State University. 

Darrius’s athletic excellence began in high school, where he was a three-sport state champion in wrestling, football, and track & field. 

Darrius holds a degree from North Carolina State University and is currently an MBA candidate at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
